AS YOU LIKE IT is “as you like it”

Thanks to a special 25th Silver Season gift from an anonymous angel, when you attend any performance of As You Like It this summer, all tickets are pay “as you like it.” Donations of any amount will be accepted at the door for all performances July 5 to Aug. 10, 2014, including the Silver Season Celebration on opening night Saturday, July 12, 2014. The pre-show opening night event at 6:30 p.m. will include a dessert buffet, champagne toasts and special entertainment music and festivities. Please help spread the word about this special opportunity to enjoy “As You Like It” this summer “as you like it.”

SHAKESPEARE’S BIRDS
Join dramaturg Mary Ann Koory and birder Linda Swanson for a bird walk, dinner and talk before Marin Shakespeare Company’s production of Romeo and Juliet on Saturday, August 30. Explore the area around Forest Meadows Amphitheater as riparian bird habitat and then return to the theatre to eat, drink, and experience it as dramatic habitat for Shakespeare’s metaphorical birds.

  • 5:30 pm Walk around Forest Meadows Amphitheater, led by Linda Swanson
    6:30 pm Dinner (reservations required)
    7:00 pm “Shakespeare’s Birds,” conversation led by Dr. Mary Ann Koory
    8:00 pm Romeo and Juliet
