The Marin Shakespeare summer
YOUNG COMPANY offers two week summer camp
Shakespeare intensives. Students study Shakespeare
through improvisation and theatre games and
rehearse a final presentation based on a Shakespearean
play. We focus on instilling an understanding
and love of Shakespeare in each student, with
class work geared to each student's skill
level. Classes will be held at the Marin Waldorf
School, 755 Idylberry Rd., San Rafael (Lucas
Valley Rd. Exit) Mondays through Fridays from
9:00 am to 3:00 pm with a performance at 2:00
on the final Friday of each session. Tuition
is $300 per session. Some need-based scholarships
are available; please enquire when enrolling.
Applications are accepted as received. Space
is limited. Early registration is recommended.
