Teen Touring Company 2008

Macbeth

The Teen Touring Company is a unique opportunity for teenagers to create and tour an 80-minute Shakespeare play. Students work with a professional director, and then perform on tour at schools and senior centers for three weeks each Spring. Students will be expected to miss three days of school for in-schools performances; a complete performance schedule will be available at the auditions.

Please familiarize yourself with Macbeth, and prepare a monologue from any Shakespeare play. We prefer that you memorize the monologue, but reading from a script is OK. There will also be group warm-ups and readings of scenes from the play. Please attend both audition days if possible, and bring a complete list of conflicts (through March 15) to the auditions. If you are unable to attend both days, please let us know when enrolling.

Please fill out an Enrollment Form and return it to us no later than December 6. (It's fine to bring it with you to the audition.) In the event you are not cast, or decide not to do the program after casting, no fee will be charged.

Rehearsals

Satuarday, December 15, 1 - 3:30 pm.
January 21 – February 28
Mondays through Thursdays 7-10 pm and Sundays 1-5 pm as needed.
You will not be called to every rehearsal.
