Amadeus - fabulous!
Fabulous!
The two leads were perfectly cast.
The whole play held our attention from beginning to end.
We all thought it was one of the best plays we had ever seen.

This afternoon my 14 year old daughter and I attended “Amadeus.” The acting was OUTSTANDING. I saw this play on Broadway approx. 25 years ago,
and today’s performance was every bit as compelling (though I wish the music could sound more “alive” - probably impossible in the outdoor setting and with actor’s voices needing to be […]
The Marin Shakespeare Company Interns will strut their theatrical stuff on Friday, July 25 when they perform in a Showcase of scenes and monologues onstage at Forest Meadows. The Showcase is from 5:30 to 6:30 pm and admission is free. This showcase isn’t purely a recital of classwork; rather it is a developed piece of […]
July 20th Amadeus was more than everything a live performance could be. It was was over-the-top-great. The costumes very nice. Able to hear every word spoken. I was completely involved in the story line, and enchanted with the characters. They played directly to me as if I were the only one there. Only wish the […]
Properties Designer Joel Eis says: “I have been a backstage designer and crew person for 35 years. I have rarely seen such a hardworking, dedicated group giving each other support, as this group, braving difficult weather conditions and a nearly Olympic rehearsal schedule to give their best to the show. Their ‘esprit de corps’ is […]
Amadeus was brilliantly directed! Wow!
Everyone did a great job! William Elsman as Salieri was phenomenal!
And Drew Hirshfield as Mozart was also incredible.
I would have liked to have seen Mozart portrayed as something more than a doofus at least occasionally, though.
I am so grateful that a theater company of such high caliber is right here in […]
Your productions of The Winter’s Tale and Amadeus were both masterfully done!
Rafael Unatalan’s portrayal of Leontes was stunning, his acting was brilliant! He really became Leontes! His non-verbal communication was powerful. I was very moved by his performance.
I thoroughly enjoyed the comedic antics of the characters in the countryside of Bohemia. Jerry Hoffman’s performance as […]
Thank you so much for making ‘Pay What You Will’ nights available to the public. A great gift!
The acting in Winter’s Tale and Amadeus is great. And I have to say it’s very good to see the always excellent Scott Coopwood back at MSC.
The play got me thinking about god: is she good, bad, or indifferent? I especially enjoyed the intensity of the acting. It made it very real.
