2025: MACBETH
Directed by Education Director Elana Kepner
The Teen Touring Company is a unique opportunity for actors aged 12 – 19 to create and tour an abridged Shakespeare play to schools, senior centers and community organizations. Students work with a professional director and dive into conservatory-style rehearsal and training in voice and text work, acting and movement. In 2025, Teen Touring Company presents Shakespeare’s supernatural tragedy, Macbeth, a gritty exploration of power, fate, magic and madness.
AUDITIONS: November 18 & 19, 5-7PM
WHAT TO PREPARE: A 15 to 25 line Shakespeare monologue (verse preferred) or sonnet. Memorization is highly reccommended, but not required. Also be prepared to read from the script (we’ll give you scenes) and to participate in a group warm-up. Plan to stay for the whole 2-hour session.
REHEARSALS: Detailed schedule TBA. See the preliminary rehearsal schedule
All auditions, rehearsals, and the first public performance will be held at 514 Fourth Street, San Rafael.
