Karina Gutierrez – Director
Karina has a Ph.D. in Theatre and Performance
Studies from Stanford University, with B.A.’s in Theatre and Literatures in Spanish from the University of
California, San Diego. She has an extensive theatrical directing resume. She was awarded the Carl
Webber prize for integration of Creative Practice and Scholarly Research from Stanford. She is a co-founder
of BALTAN, the Bay Area Latino Theatre Alliance Network.
