Adapted from the book Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan
November 7 – 9, 2025
Directed by Elana Kepner, MSC Education Director
This dynamic musical adaptation of Rick Riordan’s bestselling book opened on Broadway in 2019. When teenager Percy Jackson discovers he’s a demigod, he and his friends embark on an epic journey to find Zeus’ missing lightning bolt and prevent a war among the gods. See our company of young actors perform this exciting musical!
Content Note: This musical is based on Rick Riordan’s middle-grade fiction book Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. So while it is intended for young audiences, the musical contains intense content including depictions of violence, death, mentions of alcohol consumption, as well as mythological monsters, hand to hand and armed stage combat.
